Prof. Jung-Ping Liu Gives a Lecture at Wakayama University

On August 25th, we were honored to welcome Prof. Jung-Ping Liu from Feng Chia University, Taiwan, to Wakayama University. The Applied Science and Engineering Division hosted his invited seminar, and our Student Chapter co-organized the event, supporting the preparations and promoting student interaction. Through the seminar, we learned about his diverse work in Optical Scanning Holography, including its cutting-edge advancements, and gained invaluable experience in international exchange.

Following the seminar, we also had the opportunity to introduce our Information Photonics Laboratory. Explaining and discussing our experimental environment in English was a rare and highly stimulating experience for us. It was a truly inspiring day that deeply motivated all the participating students.

　8月25日，台湾の逢甲大学よりJung-Ping Liu先生が和歌山大学に来訪されました．

　和歌山大学 システム工学部 応用理工学領域主催のもと，Liu先生による招待セミナーが開催され，私たちStudent Chapterも共催グループとして，会場準備や学生間の交流促進に協力させていただきました．セミナーでは，Liu先生のOptical Scanning Holographyに関するご研究の軌跡や最先端のご研究について拝聴し，深く学ぶとともに，貴重な国際的な交流の機会を得ることができました．

　また，セミナー後には私たちの研究室（情報フォトニクス研究室）の紹介をおこないました．普段はなかなか経験できない英語でのプレゼンテーションやディスカッションに挑戦し，非常に刺激的で充実した一日となりました．
